Pocket JLPT is provided by Back After Sento. Your use of the iOS app is governed by the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). This page explains our practice access and subscription terms; it does not replace that agreement or limit your statutory consumer rights.

Practice access

Three starter sessions at each available level are free. A subscription unlocks all currently available practice content. Your progress and confidence history remain visible if your subscription ends. Available content and features may change as we improve the app.

Subscriptions and trials

Available plans, subscription periods, prices, and any eligible free trial are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before renewal; to avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account may be charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.

If offered and you are eligible, a free trial converts to the subscription shown at purchase unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused trial period may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. Use Restore Purchases in the app to restore eligible purchases. Refund requests are handled by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to Apple’s policies and applicable law.

Learning content

Pocket JLPT is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the organizers of the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test. Practice and confidence scores are learning aids, not official test results or a guarantee of passing. Please contact us if you find a question or explanation that needs correction.

The app and its original content belong to Back After Sento or their respective licensors. Third-party and openly licensed materials retain the rights and licenses stated in the app’s credits. These terms do not restrict rights granted by those licenses.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains on-device storage, optional iCloud sync, usage analytics, and purchases.
